Mount M'Goun Although this trip was in places far more extreme than my daughter & I had anticipated, it was a truly amazing experience. The scenery was stunning, and the people we met in remote villages and the children who would just appear out of nowhere gave us a real sense of what this lovely country was like. We had chosen this trek as a challenge to raise funds for the National Brain Appeal and the sense of achievement and emotion when we reached the summit will stay with us both for a long time. We were fortunate to be with a great group of people who bonded well and by and large supported each other along the way. Our guide Omar was excellent. He was informative, professional and kept a pace that everyone could keep to. We had one issue with our last night accommodation on the trek but Omar was on the case quickly and soon sourced an alternative beautiful Riad for us to stay. His fellow muleteers, and particularly Oulaid the chef, are also worthy of a mention and were friendly, helpful and entertaining. If you are up for a challenge and want to experience the ‘real’ Morocco, I would highly recommend this trip.

We had an amazing six day tour which included a two day trek in the high Atlas Mountains, the beautiful Dades Valley and Todra Gorge, a night in the Sahara Desert via Merzouga and a night in Essaouira! Our guide Omar was fantastic, quick to joke and happy to answer any questions we had. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know this beautiful country and hope we will be back soon!! Thank you Omar!
